Call for papers  AMCIS 2020 - A VISION FOR THE FUTURE

Salt Lake City, Utah, USA - AUGUST, 12-16 2020

 

We invite the submission of full completed research papers, Emergent Research Forum (ERF) papers, Professional Development Symposia (PDS), panels, workshops and Technology Research, Education, and Opinion (TREO) talk sessions to the 25th Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS 2020), which will be held August 12-16, 2020 in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. AMCIS 2020 brings together academics and industry professionals around the world to exchange knowledge related to the AMCIS 2020 theme, A Vision for the Future.

 

Spanish, Portuguese, and Latin America Track

Sponsored by the Latin America and Caribbean Association of Information Systems (LACAIS) Chapter.

 

Since 2003, the Spanish, Portuguese, and Latin America track has been promoting IS/IT/MIS research in and about Latin America.

Latin America makes up a large part of the Americas and its population speaks primarily Spanish or Portuguese. This track opens a space for rigorous and high-quality research that is written in Spanish or Portuguese while also accepting papers in English that bring together IS/IT/MIS research and Latin America.

Authors of accepted papers will be invited to update content and submit their research for fast track publication to the Journal RELCASI - Revista Latinoamericana y del Caribe de la Asociación De Sistemas De Información.

RELCASI is a double-blind peer reviewed publication of the Association of Information Systems published in Spanish and Portuguese.

The Track has Three Minitracks:

IMPORTANT DATES

January 6, 2020: Manuscript submissions for AMCIS 2020 begin

February 28, 2020: AMCIS manuscript submissions (completed research and Emergent Research Forum (ERF)) closes for authors at 5:00pm MST.

March 5, 2020: All papers have assigned reviewers

April 3, 2020: Workshop Submissions Due

April 13, 2020: Track Chair recommendations due

April 22, 2020: Notification of Workshop acceptance

April 22, 2020: Camera-ready papers are due at 5:00pm MST
